Presentation

Our class was set a task to advertise the school's Literature Festival in small groups. In this task, we had to create a poster, a banner, a flyer, a slogan, and a logo which would be used by the school to advertise the festival. The slogan that we came up with in my team was "bringing reading to life". We came up with 3 possible slogans but then decided to chose the slogan we did, as it makes the Literature Festival sound more interesting and lively. Our finished logo was very simple, and the "Chew Valley Literature Festival" text stood out, and was coloured green, one of the school colours. On our poster we included 4 pictures that we took ourselves for the advertising campaign. We added in the slogan, along with 2 other phrases. The date was on our poster so that people would know when the Literature Festival was going to happen. We kept the green theme through our poster, so people would associate the advertisements for the festival as all being from the same advertising team. We wanted our banner to stand out, so we kept it quite simple, with the colour green used in the text in bold. Our aim was to make our all of our advertisements stand out and be noticeable to people.
